Bison news, lots of old 1/72 sets are now out of print and sold out. It is hoped they will return later in the year. On the good side I will be getting the new Israeli markings and CCCP sets in the next week.

First show of the year is now only 4 weeks away, I have just got into Modelkraft 2012 in Milton Keynes on Feb 05th, held at Stantonbury Leisure Centre. This year I am up on the Balcony, so be sure to come up and visit. I am also booked into the Southern Expo 2012 on March 24/25th.

At the end of February, Schatton will be releasing their own 1/72 Injection moulded Mercedes Benz MB 4500, the first will be Steel cab and Wooden cab versions. Lots of conversion possibilities. We will be the sole UK importer so if you want one (or some) please pre order now. Production looks like it is the guys behind Maco so the quality will be very good indeed.

Firstly, Happy New Year to you all and lets hope its a better one. It being an Olympic year and those games draining our economy even more here in the UK, telly is going to be rubbish, so more modelling time, Yeah!!!!!!!!, see its looking better already. Don't forget to stock up on those must have bits. On another note I have now sold out of the Antares He 274.

I have managed to secure the last 6 available Heinkel He 274 models from Antares. These are the very last as there are no plans to re-issue, so if you want one please let me know or live in regret as once they are gone they are gone!

For those that missed out at Telford we now have restocks of the Balaton IDF D-9R armoured dozer and some new aircraft. I have also had a delivery of Signifer Grumman Goose, which are going fast. New Lonewulf and Modelltrans are also on the site now.

Telford is over for another year and what a good show it was. Plenty of new producers from all over the world and plenty to tempt the money from the wallet. Good to meet so many of our customers. I now have the MK72 Marder II in stock, yes it arrived the day after the show but hey, they are here. Brilliant model! I also have their wheel sets for Kubel etc. Plenty more new items to go on during this week.

It is a great pleasure for me to announce that I will be stocking the Airmodel range. I have been a fan of these models for a very long while and have nearly all the German vacforms and resins in my own stash. Initially I am stocking the new resin accessory range but if anyone wants other items (including the 1/35 military) let me know. I know vacform models are not the most popular nowadays but they are just as easy (if not easier than some resins) to make and the finished results can look spectacular. I used to make lots of vacforms, perhaps now I will get some of those out of the stash and get the bug again.

Those customers with hotmail accounts, we are having alot of problems with hotmail blocking aol e-mails so everything we send is returned. We have had some deliveries with items for hotmail customers but cannot get in touch with them.

A few bits of news; Telford, we are located in our normal site at Telford so you regulars can find us easily. I have started a new job, the hours vary, so if I am not in when you call or e-mail do not panic, leave a message and I will call back as soon as possible. Not to sure at the moment how it will affect other aspects of the business, ie, casting, shows etc but in these stretched financial times we all have to do what we must to survive. Those awaiting Antares items, these should be in during the next 1-2 weeks, includes the Me 1108. Marcelo is also hoping to get the Ta 400 out very shortly, may be in time for Telford, no idea of price yet but its a Ta 400, it will be worth it. I should shortly be releasing, Porsche 109-005 expendable turbo-jet engine (for Fi-103, Me 328 etc), Me 328 Ramjet wings and the Me 328 sub launched version (the cool one with the circular extending wings). Also in armour, additional tracked armour for the Tiger front plate and the M3A1 cast hull conversion and US leaflet tank.

I have sneaked out another release, whilst working on a diorama using the Revell Tiger 1, I decided to make up some Fuel/Radiator pods to fit under the open grills on the model, this is the first of a couple of releases relating to this diorama. Also just in a new batch of Balaton Models including the D-9 Bulldozers.

I have had a small delivery of Alby Models in the Military section. Top quality, if a little hard to acquire. I have just produced a new model for diorama, Fountain, which can be used France/Italy. Just finishing the model for photo's then it will go on the site. Next release will be the M3A1 cast hull for the Mirage Grant, probably quickly followed by the Leaflet Tank version and then the 3 inch Gun Carrier conv for Churchill. Aircraft wise, playing around with a few bits but it has been a frustrating time, I would hope to get something out for Telford.

Shows for the summer period are; 03 July Moorlands Model Show, TA Centre, Martin Leake House, Stonor St, Stoke on Trent, ST6 3HJ. Torquay Model Show, 23 July and Cholsey Model Mania, 24 July. In August so far we are only attending the Avon Show in Yate on 21 August. Just had a delivery from the Czech Rep, lots of new Russian rail cars from UM, plus some new bits from RS.

Well just had a very nice weekend at the Saumur Model Expo, very good show held in a very fine tank museum. Picked up some new decals there from a company that was new to me, Flying Frog. This company produces some interesting items both military and aviation (also Auto) and I may well be stocking more.

New delivery from modelltrans has arrived, with new items in IDF, WWII, 46 and modern plus some restocks.

I have a couple of new companies now in stock, Mister X in the Aviation dept and Thor Hobby in Military. I have had a delivery of Armo and Part, so new stocks of Shilka's etc plus etch for Tigers now back in stock. I have also had a big delivery of Classic plane models. If you want a list e-mail me and I will send you a list of what is in stock. Most are in 1's and 2's so may well sell out quick. Shows for May are; Gloucester, Sunday 8th May at Churchdown and Newton Abbot Model Extravaganza, 14th May at Newton Abbott Racecourse.

Well the Scottish Nationals have now passed for another year. Very good show in a great part of the country. Lots of new bits coming in, new items from Balaton, yes the HET trailer is now in stock and selling fast. I have also got in from S+M the new Hawker P.1121, very impressive. More items to go on from DP Casper, Modelltrans and many more.

We will be attending Plymouth Model Show this Saturday, held at the Guild Hall and then the Scottish Nationals the week after. We should have the first batch of Trailers for the HET very shortly. Our next release should be the Churchill Mk III AVRE Fascine conv. I am just working on the turret now, the fascine and frame are already complete.

Our old server has gone the way of the gods so we have changed to a nice bright new one. This does mean that any orders placed between 06 March and 10 March has got lost in the ether. If you have sent an order and I have not responded, please send again and I will deal with it. At the moment the show section is not running. We will be at Southern Expo on 19 - 20 March as our next show.

We may be experiencing some problems with our server, so if you have sent an order in the past few days and not had a response, please e-mail me on hlonewulf@aol.com.

I have just learned that CMK are raising their prices by 10%. If there is anything that you require that we have in stock, I would advise ordering now before the price increase kicks in.

Well, the show season is almost upon us, with the first outing at Modelkraft, Milton Keynes. Some new releases are in the pipeline, the first will be a conversion for the Revell Me 262 (not another one) this will be the Schnellbomber 2 version, after this will be yet another conversion for the 262 for the V 10 bomb towing version. Next full aviation kit will be the Spitfire Rammer, nice. In the world of military models the next release will be the Stahlfeldwagen Hf 7/11 (Horse murderer).
